Feb. 10 - 14 [WEEK 22]

MONDAY,  Feb 10

I.  CONSTITUTIONAL VOCAB #1
- view list and create draft in alphabetical order (consider strategies to do so)
- words on each line, two pages in spiral, left-right sides (butterfly page)
- definition must be on same line as word.  Be neat.  No long definitions.
- focus on words you DO know and understand;
- add words that you now recognize as a synonym
- in class use dictionaries; at home use online resources

HW:  CONTINUE TO WORK ON/FINISH AT HOME

I.   continue CONSTITUTIONAL VOCAB #1

I.   introduction to JEOPARDY-STYLE QUESTIONS
     - Constitution will eventually become a Jeopardy competition
     - watch youtube video of video game category questions being answered
     - pause, stop, analyze question and clues in questions;
     - what TYPE of answer is being asked for?

II.  review HA, Chapter 8, Sections 4-12 for potential answers
-  quickly come up with at least 10 answers using blue subheadings
- must have answer to be able to create question
- include page number
*  put in the effort; try; will not be perfect
*  what answers would be on a test or quiz?

III.  create rough drafts of Jeopardy-Style questions
      HA, Chapter 8, Sections 4-12 for potential answers
-  focus on quick, low point questions first

I.  continue to create rough drafts of Jeopardy-Style questions
-  use answers from yesterday or find more;
-  NOW go into text for details to create questions or get more answers
-  have at least one each a 300-point, 400-point, and 500-point question

II.  begin THINGS TO KNOW HA CHAPTER 9
-  USE only boldface subheading and boldfaced words before going deep into text
-  this is basically a way to preview for a test or a chapter read
-  write down terms to know/define/explain
-  ideas, plans, people, dates
* in your spirals (double-page/left-hand, right-hand)
